Understanding Software Licences
A software license is a legal instrument (usually by way of contract law, with or without printed material) governing the use or redistribution of software. Under United States copyright law, all software is copyright protected, in both source code and object code forms. The only exception is software in the public domain. A typical software license grants the licensee, typically an end-user, permission to use one or more copies of software in ways where such a use would otherwise potentially constitute copyright infringement of the software owner's exclusive rights under copyright.

What is your software license return policy?
Most software licenses are non-refundable once activated, per the original publisher's terms. If a product includes an evaluation or trial period, returns may be considered within that window. Contact sales@us-lab.net before purchase for specific requirements.
How is software delivered after purchase?
All software and licenses are delivered electronically worldwide. After payment confirmation you receive license keys, activation codes, or download access by email — typically within 1-4 business hours. Expedited delivery is available for enterprise orders.
What support is available after purchase?

How do I place an order?
Send us a purchase request listing the products, quantities and license terms you need. We issue an invoice with unit prices and the total payable. The order is accepted once we receive payment in full against that invoice, and we then procure and deliver the licenses.
How do I pay, and to whom?
Payment is due in advance and in full, in US dollars, by bank wire transfer or cheque. We do not accept cash. Payment is made directly to US-Lab, to our bank account in the United States, and we never ask you to pay a third party. Please quote the invoice number in the payment reference.
Do you hold stock, or resell used licenses?
Neither. We hold no stock and order licenses only after you confirm, and only from publishers or their authorized distributors. Every license is new and sourced directly from the vendor channel.
Which licensing models can you supply?
Per seat (named user), per device, floating (concurrent), subscription, and perpetual with maintenance, plus volume and multi-vendor arrangements. We help you pick the model that fits each product in your project. See our Licensing page for a plain explanation of each.
Do you handle export control and sanctions compliance?
Yes. We do not supply licenses where doing so would breach United States export control or sanctions laws or the publisher's terms. For some orders we may ask you to identify the end users and the territory where the software will be used.
